My first attempt at combining traditional art and digital art^^
and...my third time drawing Nyx Avatar...cuz I liked his design very much!!!(my most favorite final boss design on game ever:D!!)

About 30% of this pic was created digitally...especially on the BG^^

This pic actually was just a sketch on my sketchbook,but then I decided to inked it then color it using watercolour that I brought to the place I worked usually...

Cuz I wanna try some mixed media experiment,so I decided to do some manipulation digitally,especially on the BG.

Well...as the first attempt,I knew this pic was far from perfection...as the traditional art still dominating the overall pic...but I quite satisfied for the result^^

So...C&C welcome!!

Materials that I've used:0,1 Snowman Drawing Pen(for inking)Reeves watercolour,Faber Castell Classic Colour Pencil,Caran D'ache oil pastel,Sakura brush pen
Media:My sketchbook(drawing paper 100 gsm)
Done in 4 hours

Cool, good mix of both traditional and digital art...gets the best of both worlds ( especially will shut up the few, shallow-minded people who think digital art isn't art :roll: ) by bridging the gap between both :)

I actually tried some variations for the BG/digital manipulation for this pic...but apparently this one's I like most^^

Digital and traditional art are both art...although maybe digital art for some people lack of its 'feeling' aspect...what I mean here is cuz digital art could easily edited unlike traditional art...you still can edit some parts even after it was finished...
